Radial Balance 1
In this art piece, we had to use radial balance. Radial balance is when a group of objects all have the same center point and go in a circle.
radial balance 2
This deisgn also had to have elements of radial balance. We were supposed to create a design that looked like the Wheel of Fortune.
Radial balance 3
This design was the third radial balance design. I used a 6-pointed star and transformed it around 360 degrees.
radial balance 4- Concentric
In this radial balance design, we had to have three concentric rings. Concentric means that objects have the same center point but different diameters. The three concentric rings in my design are outlined in white.
Symmetrical balance 1
This design was the first symmetrical balance design. Symmetry is when something is exactly the same on both sides, to where if you were to cut it in half, it would create two identical pieces.
symmetrical balance 2
This is the second symmetrical balance design. I used a lot of transformation is the one. I used a lot of copies.
symmetrical balance 3
This is the third symmetrical balance design. I transformed a 10-pointed star 9 times to create a grill-like ring with an open center.
repetition blend
In this design, I had to use the blend tool to create interesting effects between shapes.
Partner design
In this design, I had to collaborate with my partner, Angel Castenada, to create a visually interesting design using symmetry and radial balance.
group design- radial
In this design, I had to work with my group to create designs with a theme to create unity. For our theme, we used stars and the colors red and black.
group design 2- symmetrical
In this design, I had to use symmetry and our theme to create a design that unified with my other group members.
Blanket design
This design was a blanket design we did using inspiration from an actual blanket.
Blanket design- Analogic
This variation of the blanket design uses analogic colors, colors that are next to each other on the color wheel.
BLANKET DESIGN- grayscale
This variation of the blanket design is a grayscale representation
BLANKET DESIGN- monochromatic
This variation of the blanket design uses different shades and tints of purple.
BLANKET DESIGN- tetrad
This variation uses tetrad colors.
BLANKET DESIGN- texture
This variation has a texture layer which makes a stone-like effect.

My artwork piece came from things that inspired me. About a year ago I really started to become interested in music production. My favorite part of it is how the rhythms and all the little parts create the bigger picture. A lot of people don’t realize how many pieces there are in the puzzle of music production, but if you listen closely you can hear little parts of the music that enhance it by much more than you may think. Inspiration came easy for me because I like almost every genre of music there is so I have the ability to take pieces from different genres and put them together to create something that sounds original and appealing. I created my piece using computer programs at school and at home. For my cover I chose to take a photo of our mural on the wall near the back of the school. I specifically took a picture of the 1968 Olympics medalists raising their fists as a representation of human rights activism because I think that moment in history really represents a point where we were united as one.
